Pricing & Weight
How does dumpster pricing actually work? Base price includes the container, delivery, pickup, a 15-day rental, and included tonnage — 1, 1.5, or 2 tons depending on size ($429 / $489 / $549). How is the weight measured? On the truck, on a certified scale, at pickup — never estimated in your driveway. You pay for what the load actually weighed, and we can tell you the number the same day.
Why is concrete and dirt priced flat? Dense material punishes per-ton guessing games, so we don’t play them: clean concrete, dirt, and organic material loads out at $200 flat per load, up to 15 tons — the best heavy-debris rate in the region. Details: concrete & dirt disposal.
Choosing a Size
What size do I need? The honest default for homes is the 20-yard — whole-house cleanouts, renovations, and standard roofs fit it. The 15-yard owns dense material and single rooms; the 30-yard takes demo, layered roofs, and volume work. Two minutes on the phone sizes it with you.
How many pickup loads is a container? A 15-yard holds roughly 5 pickup loads, a 20-yard about 8, a 30-yard around 12 — one container, one haul, no Saturday lines at the transfer station.
Is a bigger box ever cheaper? Usually, yes — when you’re torn between two sizes, the bigger container beats a second delivery every time.
Rental Terms & Timing
How long can I keep it? 15 days standard — roughly double the typical local window — then $10/day. Most projects finish early.
How fast can you deliver? Same-week is typical across all three counties — book online or call when the calendar’s tight. Roofing season (May–October) and spring cleanup compress availability hardest.
Can you swap containers mid-project? Yes — swap-out cadence for contractors, estates, and phased work gets set at booking and adjusts with one call.
Placement & Permits
Do I need a permit? On your own driveway or property: no, anywhere we serve. Public street or right-of-way: depends on the jurisdiction — Baltimore City ($65/week, apply ~2–3 weeks ahead), Baltimore County ($25 Dumpster User Permit), and Harford County prohibits street placement outright. Will it damage my driveway? Boards go under the rails on request — that covers nearly every residential surface. Tell us about pavers or fresh asphalt at booking and we place with extra care.
Can you place on grass or a side pad? Yes — boards down for surface protection; lawn and side-pad placement is routine on larger lots.
What Goes In
What can’t go in? Four things, by Maryland rule: wet paint, tires, batteries, and appliances containing refrigerant (fridges, freezers). Everything else from a house or job site loads as standard debris — furniture, mattresses, shingles, drywall, cabinets, yard waste included.
Can different materials share a container? Trash and construction debris mix freely at one rate. Clean heavy material (concrete, dirt, organic) must stay a separate stream to hold the $200 flat rate — one greying pot in a leaf load is a conversation; a real mix converts the load’s pricing.
Loading & Safety
How do I load heavy items? Through the walk-in rear door — every container has one. Furniture, appliances minus the refrigerant kind, and equipment roll in at ground level instead of going over the walls. Technique: loading tips.
Can I fill it to the top? Level with the top rail, never above — overloaded boxes can’t be legally tarped, and Maryland haul-outs mean tight turns. Dense material (concrete, dirt, brick) fills half the box, not to the top. Full rules: quick-start rental guide.
What if it rains? Tarps over the load before weather — wet carpet, drywall, and upholstery soak up water fast, and the scale reads weight, not intentions.

Where do you deliver? Harford County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City — 18 towns from Bel Air to Towson, plus every city neighborhood. Town-by-town list: service areas.
What if my town isn’t listed? Call — if the truck can get there and back same-day, we usually make it work. Northern Baltimore County, Cecil edges, and points between are regular conversations.
